After a long hiatus, Ace Speedway is back as a NASCAR Advance Auto Weekly Series sanctioned race track for 2025.
The 69th season at the Alamance County (NC) 4/10th oval will see NASCAR sanction 4 divisions
at the track: Late Models, Limited Late Models, Modifieds and Mini Stocks, with INEX sanctioning the Legends Division. Xtremes, Champ Karts and 602 Super Chargers will also have several events
during 2025, with the Virginia Vintage cars appearing once in September.
“This sanctioning will put more eyes on Ace Speedway in the United States and the entire racing world. It will bring more drivers to the facility, more advertising partners and more spectators” in a statement made by the speedway.
“It will be a win for Alamance County and a boost for the local economy. Local racers will now have a chance to race for a NASCAR National Championship which was won by Ace Speedway
legend Barry Beggarly in 1993.”
Owner Robert and Jason Turner have owned the facility since 2017 and with the recent hire of General Manager David Sell, the trio have their eyes set on making the racing at Ace the best
it has been in years.
“With track improvements planned in 2026, we are looking to build the
car count, fan count and partner count in 2025, and with NASCAR and INEX sanctioning, we feel this is the best step forward,” according to GM David Sell.
in a separate announcement on Wendeaday, the track will host Legends Cars during the season under INEX Sanctioning. The track will crown a track champion st the end k f
