Jimmy Mullins & Bobby Measmer Jr

Episode 57 is on the scene fresh from our trip to South Boston Speedway where we covered the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour event from South Boston. We gave our analysis of Deac McCaskill's return to victory lane and Nick Loden's first career CARS Tour Pro Late Model win. We discuss the patience Layne Riggs showed McCaskill at the end of the race, the quiet but productive night for points leader Carson Kvapil, the close battle in the Pro Late Model event between Loden, Cole Butcher and Caden Kvapil and exclusive comments from McCaskill, second place Riggs, third place Bobby McCarty and from some rookie named Kenny Wallace.

We discuss the big news from the week involving Landon Huffman and the split from Nelson Auto Sport for 2024.

We head to Tri County Speedway to talk about this weekend's SMART Modified Tour event powered by Pace-O-Matic. Bobby Labonte has endured a tough season but has turned the corner by getting a dominating win Saturday night. We break down the event by discussing the rookie phenom Carson Loftin's chances to make the SMART3, the struggles of Brandon Ward and Joey Coulter and the career night for Bobby Measmer Jr. Plus we preview this weekend's event at South Boston Speedway!

Speaking of Measmer, we welcome him to the show as one of our featured guests! We discuss his transition from full bodied cars to modifieds. The tough year he has had on the track this season, running at Bowman Gray Stadium, being with the same team for nearly two decades and his son getting the racing bug.  He also gives us an announcement about his future running full time touring schedules and much more!

Jimmy Mullins has been racing in Virginia and the Carolina's for nearly five decades. He joins us this week to discuss winning the 2023 Six Pack Championship for the Super Street Division at Lonesome Pine Motorsports Park, his thoughts on how racing has changed in over five decades of doing this, the respect he has for the Barnes family who he regularly competes with every weekend, how this championship at the Pine was nearly not meant to be if it wasn't for help from his fellow competitors and his candid thoughts on what it would mean to him to potentially be one of the last champions at Pulaski County Motorsports Park.

We also talk the significance of AJ Allmedinger's win at the Roval was, who is a LOCK to make the Cup Series championship round plus we tell you where the Grand National Super Series is running their season finale, pick a winner for the Orange Blossom from Orange County Speedway in Rougemont and a lot more on another jam packed episode of DLN!
